These boat details are subject to contract. The Moody 346 is a real solid cruiser. She offers pretty much all you would need in a 34' foot yacht and her layout and design are ideal for extended cruising. The central cockpit offers a safe environment and with control lines lead aft she can be managed without too many trips onto the foredeck. Below decks the standard forward cabin and main saloon is complimented by the rear cabin which (for me) offers so much when it comes to sailing with friends and family. The current owner has used this boat regularly and with the new engine fitted last year ... read more

Anyone with an interest in yachting in the mid 1980's may well remember 'Howard's Way' - that riveting TV soap, a tale of glamorous yachting folk, grumpy Jack Rolfe of the Mermaid Yard, and some devious dodgy dealings and fashionable ladies! If you do remember all that, then you'll surely know all about the revolutionary wing keeled Spring 25 which was heavily featured (alongside the ULDB, but that's another story!) These yachts are a great family boat, this one with with sleeping accommodation for four. She has an aft double cabin which wouldn't disgrace a thirty footer and her saloon bert... read more

This beautifully designed double ended steel ketch has been well maintained and improved by the current owners. Constructed by Eric Hammond Offshore Steel Boats, in 1992 and launched after fit out in 1996, this boat has all of the advantages of a steel boat. Steel boats are preferred for their superior strength over other materials and comparatively cheaper repair costs. All of this boat's anodes were replaced in May 2018, alongside an antifoul and rigging check, with no recommendations made. When I visited the boat, I was impressed by its rugged and practical design and construction. The ... read more

Westerly have an excellent reputation for building solid, comfortable and lasting boats. The Solway is a great example of this pedigree, being a well respected, solid, seaworthy, cruiser. The bilge keel provides a boat capable of navigating both inland and offshore waters and the boat has a safe and comfortable feel, with the centre cockpit, making it ideal for families and longer distance cruises, for when the weather changes. This version has been very well maintained by the current owner, who has invested in numerous upgrades, including a recent engine, sprayhood, sails and headlining to ... read more

The current owners have had this Turkish Gulet since 2003 and were running the boat as a charter business for the first five years. In 2009 the boat went through a major refit including conversation from 5 cabins into 3, new engine, new diesel, water and holding tanks as well as a new teak deck and interior electronic system. The mast was replaced in 2006. The owners have spent a lot of time cruising the Turkish and Greek waters and have visited many of the area's harbours. These boat details are subject to contract. What a great little family motor sailer for weekend, coastal, estuary or river sailing. She would also be good for fishing trips with friends. With a well thought out design and a quality build in Sweden, there seems to be loads of space and lots going on for this practical 25 footer. The centre cockpit has plenty of seating, safe high cockpit combings, gives access to fore & aft cabins and has a full enclosure when needed to keep you dry. This cover can be packed away, as can the cover for the large sun roof, allowing great flexibility for year round use. There is also a big store away cockpi... read more

The Cromarty 36 is a long keel ketch motor-sailer, built by Blondecell of Lymington and designed by Wyatt and Freeman (the same guys who designed the Fisher range of motor-sailors). She was designed for comfortable long distance sailing and this particular example has been equipped for blue water cruising, having a watermaker and generator. She is very well equipped and there is a detailed inventory available upon request. These boat details are subject to contract. Note: Offers on the asking price may be considered. The Westerly Falcon, like her sister vessel the Westerly Seahawk, was designed with long distance and luxury in mind. With improved performance and acres of room, it is ideal for long term family sailing and living aboard. This example has the reefing lines leading aft to a deep, safe cockpit. The helm position has the benefit of wheel steering, auto helm, a large chart plotter and steering compass. The decks are easy to move around, this example has a useful A frame added at the stern for mounting solar panels and acting as a davits system for the tender without increasing LOAs for marina ... read more

Jeanneau JOD 35 was the official boat for the "Tour de France la Voile' from 1992 to 1998. I didn't notice too many signs of a hard race life on this girl. Yes she could do with some touch up of deck paint and you may wish to consider fully over hauling the engine at some point in the future but the engine still seemed to be running ok when the owner turned her over for me. She has a good sail wardrobe and benefits from some recently upgraded Raymarine navigation equipment including a SailGen hydrogenerator. This yacht has just been antifouled April 2019! Owner comments: If you do not have... read more

This Biscay 36 was hull No. 1 when Falmouth Boat Construction started to build these boats. She went through a 12 month refit at the Falmouth Boat Construction yard in 2017/18 in preparation for taking part in the Golden Globe Race which started in June 2018. After crossing the Atlantic, the owner had to retire from the race due to injuries. The rig, spars, sails, fittings and much more where replaced during the refit and fitted with the race's mandatory safety equipment. The boat is sold without the green vinyl and comes with a berth in Mindelo paid up until end of April. These boat details... read more
