"The boat with the rope" Romany Lass is a Romany 21’ (No. 69) Round Bilged Fisherman, built in the Gordon Payne Romany Works in Poole, Dorset, bought new from there leaving on the 19th of April 1968 to go to Sandbank on Holy Loch as a yard workboat. Later, amongst others, she was owned twice by Gordon McNair who more recently refurbished her for the second time in about 2021, finishing her in beautiful Utile hardwood.
