HISTORY & CONSTRUCTION:
ELEANOR B was built at Bristol Marine between 2000 and 2002 of rolled steel plating to the classic lines of an Alan Pape design. This replica Looe Lugger design is based on the West Country lugger TALISMAN FY242 built in 1898.
ELEANOR B is configured for solo sailing having a slightly reduced rig for ease of handling, with all sheet leads and controls operated from the aft cockpit. Steel plate hull, flush decks and bulwarks.
Traditional style, pine and hardwood interior with foam insulated hull lining.
One double berth forward cabin with en-suite chemical WC.
One double berth aft and three single berths with fabric-covered cushions
Ample galley space with deep sink and a hand pump
