Newport Isle of Wight UK
Anderson 22 (22ft) lifting keel yacht. Draft with keel down: 4ft 4in, with it raised: 2ft.
The hull is in good condition and has been recently anti-fouled without seeing the water since. She has been kept on the hard for all winter seasons that I am aware of. She is good condition for her age with all rigging, spas, sails, deck and fittings all in good working order. We have sailed her regularly and is ready to go as soon as she is in the water. The Anderson 22 is a joy to sail, she sails to windward very well and is light on the tiller.
The lifting keel is operated from a winch in the main cabin and raises the keel leaving a bulb protruding below that will sit in the mud.
The interior is in fair condition, although some of the linings have been removed exposing the white pained fibreglass coach roof . It has a stove, chemical toilet, all original fixtures and storage.
The yacht has two winches with handles, bunk cushions, backstay adjuster, Plastimo jib reefing system and outboard well plug.
4hp Yamaha Outboard in working order which sits in a well designed for this size engine.
There is a set of 3 reasonable and perfectly serviceable sails:
Main sail in crosscut Dacron, 2 reefing points and sail cover.
Furling genoa 'offshore cruising spec' in crosscut Dacron with u.v. strip.
Spinnaker (reasonable condition)
New wind, log and depth instruments powered by a 12v battery
The boat is current in the Newport, Isle of Wight and available for inspection any time in working hours and the weekends buy arrangement.
No trailer. But it can be trailer sailed.
